Strategic Account Manager

O’Keeffe PR is seeking a dedicated Strategic Account Manager with a passion for business-to-business (B2B) client engagement, a mind for strategy, a fire to execute the strategies they create, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of agency experience in public relations and content marketing, strong writing skills, and the desire to work autonomously in a smaller agency setting. The Strategic Account Manager may manage one or more of the agency’s larger B2B client accounts, and must also possess the capability and readiness to lead or support one or more of the firm’s non-profit or business-to-consumer (B2B) accounts.

Duties

  • Work directly with clients to build a trusting relationship that drives results, establish content marketing strategies to achieve their unique goals, successfully implement these strategies, and provide regular progress and performance updates.
  • Write engaging, clean, and concise content. Have a keen eye for editing content. 
  • Benchmark client campaigns against industry standards and historical data. 
  • Compile analytics reports showing results, provide strategic insights/recommendations, and communicate these insights to clients.
  • As necessary, write and publish engaging content for blogs, newsletters, social media, and other content marketing material. 
  • Monitor trends in media relations, influencer relations, content marketing, digital marketing, and social media, alongside marketing applications, channels, design, and strategy. Make recommendations as necessary. 
  • Aid in executing content and public relations strategies. This includes but is not limited to media list creation, writing and distributing press releases and media alerts, developing and pitching story ideas, developing and nurturing media contact relationships, and identifying and pursuing awards, speaking, and recognition opportunities for clients. 
  • Manage and prioritize a constant stream of ad-hoc requests,
  • Consistently identify areas to support team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communications or Marketing with a PR or Advertising concentration.
  • 5+ years of public relations, content, and social media experience
  • Experience in an Agency is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience investigating, cleansing, and manipulating data.
  • Ability to turn analytical insights into unique story-telling to elevate reporting and presentations to clients.
  • Strong understanding of the Public Relations industry.
  • Ability to multitask and project manage key priorities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and creative environment.
  • Google Data Studio or related data visualization experience preferred.
  • Experience with a variety of Marketing tools, including but not limited to SuperMetrics, Agility PR, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Canva, Mail Chimp, HubSpot, and Constant Contact.

 

Content & Social Media Account Manager

We are seeking a Content & Social Media Account Manager with a passion for client engagement and strong writing skills to support a healthy mix of B2B, B2C, and non-profit accounts. This position can be full-time, part-time or contract. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of content marketing, social/digital media, and public relations experience, and the desire to work autonomously in a smaller agency setting. The Content & Social Media Account Manager will partner closely with Account Leads to develop, execute, and evaluate content and social/digital media projects, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn campaigns. The Content & Social Media Account Manager will create, present, and implement these strategies for clients. This role will have an emphasis on social media and data analytics, coupled with the opportunity to support ongoing Public Relations strategies.

Duties
